Trumpet Player and Music Instructor

Hello and thanks for visiting my site. I am a trumpet player in the northern portion of Alabama. I would love the opportunity to help make your event very special by performing the music of your preference at the highest level of musical excellence and professionalism. One common question that I get is, "What kinds of music are you available to play?" The answer is, "Regardless of what kind of music is required, any title, in any genre is available for performance on the trumpet."

Some may also ask, "Why the trumpet?" Well, the trumpet is the most versatile of all instruments. For example, I can play at a wedding and produce a regal, majestic sound to announce the procession of a beautiful bride. I can also play Pachelbel's Canon in D with a pristine, beautiful sound as the brides' maids enter. Moreover, I can play with a dark, centered sound on a beloved hymn, or a clear, bugle-like sound on Taps, as a family celebrates the passing of a loved one. And there are many other types of sounds that are attainable on the trumpet, such as a bright, brilliant sound, or a darkened, diffused sound. So, whether it is at a wedding reception, a dance, a wedding, or a church service, the trumpet is a very excellent choice for all sorts of genres of music.

So in short, here is what I am offering: A commitment to work very diligently to perform at the highest possible level of musical excellence and professionalism, so as to make your event that much more special. A Little About Me

I reside in Florence, Alabama, which is in the northwest corner of the state. I have taken private instruction from Mr. Ken Engle, and Dr. Ed Jones, two of the most competent and proficient instructors in this region of the United States. I have a Bachelor's degree in American History, and have had extensive training on the trumpet at the University of North Alabama. Music is one of my passions, as I feel that I have been particularly gifted by the Lord. On a personal note, I am a follower of Christ. I have been married to a wonderful lady for a little over six years. She and I have a little boy who is three years old, and little girl who is eighteen months old. We are members of Grace Life Church of the Shoals, in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
